It looks like you have two 4X3 grids in the spokes with one having a 69 next to it and the other with a 70? It looks like by the photos that the one next to the 69 has dots in all but one of the grids and the one with 70 has none? Hard to see. Maybe this is another way to verify the date. Maybe that means it was cast in November of 69? Seems early for a mid-April stamped alternator but who knows?
