Go to user CP then click on Edit Options.
When there, make sure messaging is enabled also checkmark choices are correct for features you want.

Peter's right you can even choose to get an email directly to you for responses so you don't miss any personal messages.
Even guys that don't sell on here and have a WANT list the $25 is priceless, I sell a lot of parts on here but when I put a Want list up they get filled quickly too.
