Nice shifter - great condition. Trying to learn: how do you decipher the date code on the shifter? Thanks and GLWS!

LOL good question?
Maybe 89 in the first two numbers is August 1969 but not sure. I know the other numbers are just a serial number all Hurst's come with and F is for F Body like Camaro or Firebird but I am no expert on these.
Maybe someone else can chime in.
