In past conversations that I had with people who were at Berger in the day, the Super Novas had stock 350 motors not LT1s. They were an appearance package only.

Thank you Schonyenko2. Based on the pictured brochure elsewhere on this site, it seems like there were quite a few options. Since Berger was also a performance dealer, I can't imagine them not offering them with upgraded engines. I'd bet you could get an LT-1 or maybe even big blocks. Can't say for sure and you've spoken to people that were there in the day. Given that only 10 were made, I may never know for sure. I'd sure love to see some hi res pics of that brochure. |
