Thanks John. His webpage leaves a little to be desired, so I think I'm going to take a try at this myself. In the meantime, some final details I need to nail down.
Bullitt didn't have backup lights, but wanting this to be reversible, I fabed up some covers that bolt on and use the original mounting hardware for the lights to boot! ![]() Last thing I need to do is paint the rocker moldings. But the car just looks good with them and the wheel lip moldings. What took do... ![]() 7 miles on it in 96 degree TX heat with no issues so far. More to come! Cheers Dave |

His "web page leaves a little to be desired"? Dave, are you seriously expecting a tech devoted to rehabbing 8 track tape players to not have a busy/quirky/self reverential website? I have every faith that you will successfully repair the unit yourself, but that website is pretty much EXACTLY what I want to see from someone who does that kind of work-it gives me confidence as a consumer.
