IMO a concours resto is the wrong approach on this one, as some of you have said. I would graft in some patch panels, paint it, and clean the rest of it up. I think you could get everything done and avoid going into the red.

Weren't the '66 Hemi still solid lifters back then? i can hear that beast now.

Solid lifters from 66 to 69. Hydraulic in 70 and 71.
