Is there a way to decipher the punched out IBM type of card found under a seat?

Not really. You would need to know the codes that Chevrolet used back in the day to be able to decipher it.

----What do the pundits say about paperwork on a 67 Fremont built El Camino? This car has had some resto done before I bought it but something may be glued somewhere......Bill S

For Pontiac division the punches on the IBM card (Billing History) correspond with the Group 5 option codes on the build sheet and the order blank. Those boxes provide a nice description of the option content. Does the card use "Group 5" designations, or UPC/FNA naming like we use today? K
