Thanks guys, just what I thought, just helping a friend sort out a # matching car. It was said to have the stamp down below when ask about it not being on the pad. He passed on the car.

Post VIN stamp...

I have never seen a VIN stamp on a 68-70 BB Nova in any location but the front deck area
