NOS Trim Tag rivets

Friend of mine's father worked on the GM assembly line back in the 60s. He had given me these rivets 25 years ago and I forgot I had them. I know there's some here who have to remove their tags due to Restoration. And thought they might want original ones to put them back on with. These are legitimate 60s assembly line Hardware. As far as I know they were used as early as 65 through at least 72

When they were crimped did it pierce out the center? My TT has never been removed and the center is open. It was filled with some gunk, but not metal. Its a 70 Camaro.
