You may recall we discussing in an earlier thread the rear end in my 69 L78. The build sheet calls for a KK there is a CF 3.31 installed now. The date code on the axle tube aligns with the build date of the car, but the casting number of the differential is for a 67. (3894939) I have caught up with the second owner of 44 years and he states he never changed the rear end. I am the third registered owner. I assume that the rear end must have been changed by the original owner. I am the third registered owner. There were two flippers before me. There is zero evidence of this rear end being touched in the recent past. What I am trying to figure out if this rear end is a 67 by visual glues, and you guys have given those to me. I appreciate it. I would like to find a correct dated KK for the car if possible. Thanks
