I am considering selling my 1968 RS/SS Camaro L78 convertible. It is butternut yellow, black standard interior. Highly optioned with 4-speed, AM/FM stereo & console mounted 8-track multiplex, tilt wheel, tic-toc-tach (6 grand of course) with console and gauges, power top, power brakes. I added a factory or dealer installed luggage rack to give it a sleeper appearance and because I like it. Includes another deck lid which was painted to match also with spoiler. Original block but not original but correct heads.

Here are some pics. Not quite finished with it yet but in the home stretch! Still needs a top installed, smog pump installed, exhaust installed and a few other odds and ends. I have whatever you don't see on the car excluding the top but haven't had the time/ambition to get it done.

Nice, great options. What are you asking for the car? Tony

I haven't decided completely on the asking price but of course not going to be inexpensive. Probably at least $50k in it's current state. Will definitely regret selling at any price later I am sure.

Any factory paperwork? Is the trans original to the car?

It does not have the original transmission but does the engine block and rear differential. No factory paperwork other than NCRS showing where it was originally sold. I do have the full ownership history with telephone numbers for everyone excluding original owner whom I do have his name though. 2nd owner purchased in 1971 from original owner directly and confirmed it is an L78 and selling dealership which matches info from NCRS to well known collector whom we got the car from back in 1999. That information was confirmed in 1997. Have the title from 3rd owner from 1973. I am the 4th registered owner. Original brake and fuel lines are still intact in case that provides any authenticity. New brake lines will go with it though. Was always a Texas car until 1999 and has been in Kansas since kept in dry storage.
