the two assembly plants handled them differently.

The above applies to Norwood built cars

The Van Nuys built cars had the entire cowl painted stripe color, the rear stripes were a tad different as well, but for the life of me my CRS has kicked in and I don't recall what it was

Norwood produced Camaros can also have the entire cowl painted stripe color. For a mid year '69 Norwood built Camaro as he referenced that would not be typical.
