Thanks Taz, that's exactly the plan. I just want to use most of the parts on a new 383 as I'm on a budget.

Understand -- but I would keep the original short block intactas there are bucu 350 4-bolt main blocks all over the Lords creation. That would be a good base to bolt your heads, intake, etc. from the 302. Obviously you'll need to work the carb/ignition to fit the 383 combo. TAZ
