Sounds like the Rick Morehouse LS-6 that was bought new @ Krumpholtz Chevrolet in West Chicago in april 1970.
If so,it has been passed around many, many times since then and discussed here.https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=99824
I'm very familiar with it's past and was recently restored too.
Last I saw John H. sold it @ auction to Canada I believe.

----That BJ description is absolutely false when it says 85% original paint. Don't get me wrong, I still like Ricks and my old car, but it has been repainted at least 3 times if I am remembering correctly. Wish I knew then what I know now as I would have had it restored by Vic and kept it. Car was brutally fast.......Bill S
