| 1970-74 Big Block Valve Covers

These are what I believe to be correct for 1970-74 big block cars. Has the correct indention on the drivers cover and the correct clips on the pass side. These would be great for that survivor that had its covers swapped at some point or have them rechromed for that restoration. $175 shipped. Edit: Forgot to mention Im also open to trades. . Rechroming these valve covers is difficult to find competent shop or excessively expensive.....which is why Im thinking many are using the repop from (cant remember at the moment)

Crane is who I was trying to remember....I dont know if Rick Nelson or Chris White have opted to use the Crane Covers or found competent shops to re chrome OEM covers (of which I have the same need) At least one 70 L-78 Camaro at last weekends Camaro Nationals had the Crane Covers

The Crane covers are nice to look at but the one flaw is not enough space to get a socket in the recess to tighten the hold down 1/4" bolts without marking the chrome. The only option is to use incorrect fasteners.

I have no problem clearing the 1/4" bolts on the few sets I bought from Crane back in 1991. May be a different later design they're selling today? |
