Mark I've always used a battery mat.Keeps the acid from reaching the tray.Enjoy the cruise!

I actually have battery mats on both my cars! They've been great for the most part. Never had a problem until now. Probably because the battery spewed too much and the mat got soaked. I can't help but think it's because of an over-charge. Eventually I'll find out. I just hope I can deal with it before the weekend.
