Most Canadian Built Chevelles had the optional block heater....fast forward 50 years later....I stay away from Chevelles with a block heater.....as it most definitely means Rust a rusty car :-(

I stick to cars from the drier climates like AZ, NM, CA, TX and up through the high desert plains from NV into ID and WA. There are many Canadian cars from the west that also come from desert areas like the BC Interior and throughout eastern Alberta such as Medicine Hat. These areas are known as Canadian high deserts and have delivered many dry rust free cars over the years. Rust never sleeps as they say.
