Default 292 head date code

What date are these NOS heads? They have dates stamped on the ends when they were ported by Gail Powley at Jere Stahl's shop.

Dec 20. Either 67 or 77. Nice set. Any reason to think they couldn't be for a MY 68? edit: apparently they were made in the 70s and were called a "turbo head." OTC only. Never production.

Because they are angle plug, small plug and that casting number was 73- roughly 80...

68 casting number was 3917292 not 340292.

They were known for cracking. I took a set off an engine 2 years ago that are cracked between the valves. Did not pass pressure test. I wander when they went to the Bowtie heads. I have a set cast in 1981.
