Kurt are you stating that the door panels were not installed at the factory?
When the car came out of storage the interior was never out of the car. The door panels were removed for the first time when the car was stripped and repainted. There is another anomaly that no one has picked up on yet on the doors. You have to take into account when this car was built, The last day of 67 production. Only 1 owner and 5600 miles it was not messed with.
