I have a what I believe is a 1st gen Camaro Motion L88 hood
The top and bottom look like the others I have seen It definitely has some type of metal thread inserts molded in to the fiberglass. I can see rust on the 3/8-16 threads. I can't tell how large of an insert is there since all that is visible is the threaded holes with the fiberglass covering the surface. I would think it is larger then a standard nut , probably a piece of steel flat stock with a threaded hole
