Default Re: Valuing a Six Pack setup

The intake is a mid year casting Dec 3rd. 1969. Usually found on a car a few months after the casting. The carbs are not a date code matched set. One is 168th day of 1970. Second one is 236th day or 1970. The third is a 294th day of 1971. The first early number could be the original one. The next two definitely are not. The second one would be for a 1971 car. The third would be over the counter bought 2941 294th day of 1971. The air cleaner is an original one. The carbs if they were all close would make it more valuable. I see the intakes go for $550 to $750 for the 1970 cast iron versions. The carbs go for anywhere used from $175 to $350 each if you find a guy looking for certain date codes and condition. The air cleaner is worth $450 to $650 for the metal parts. It is hard to see the element looks original if in good shape not rusty on the outside $150 to $250 for a nice one used.
