It's very typical to take a base vehicle and dress it up for the brochure or for photo ops.
Obviously somebody blew it with that one (perhaps an advertising agent that wasn't very familiar with product content). K

Maybe they were getting ready to test market a 6 banger SS due to fuel prices going up. In any case, would be a funny picture on a garage wall for a chevelle guy. Or maybe a mopar guy to mock a chevelle and laugh at [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img]
