Pete,
I agree that a higher percentage of '67s have to be known because of the trim tag call out. With 1138 L78s produced we'd know of many more rags if they represented 10% of production. It seems in the higher performance engines that a lower % of rags is the norm. Factor that with a higher survival rate of rags and my guess is that fewer than 5% were built. It could even be much lower than that. Lets estimate 25 known cars and an 80% survival rate and you end up with a production number less than 3%. Of course it's all guess work but it seems pretty clear that the '67 L78 rags are some of the rarest high performance cars of the era.
