This is G. Dickens' 68 L88 Corvette that was sold new at Jack Douglass Chevrolet in Hinsdale IL and is 1 of 80 built.
![]() ![]() This is J. Stranak's 69 L89 Corvette that is 1 of 390 built. ![]() This is J. Anderson's 69 Corvette. I never saw the hood open, but it's either a 390 or 400 horse car due to having a 5.5K redline tach. ![]() This is J. Anderson's 71 LT-1 Corvette. ![]() Now for some full size Chevrolet's. This is K. Nagel's 59 Impala convertible with a 290 horse fuel injected engine backed by a T-10 and 3.55 gears that was sold new in Northern CA. This is only the second factory fuel injected 59 Impala convertible I have seen. I don't know how many were made. ![]() ![]() This is C. Golz's 67 Impala SS 427 that was equipped with a TH400 and air. ![]() This is B. Everly's 67 SS 427 that was equipped with a 4 speed. This car was featured in the latest issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines. Notice the difference between this car and the Impala SS above. The SS 427 was a separate model and lacked any Impala emblems. It also had the chrome louvers on the center of the hood that the Impala SS 427's lacked. ![]() This 68 SS 427 was a Pilot Car with VIN 100003 and is equipped with a 385 horse 427 backed by a TH400 and 3.08 gears. ![]() |
