I lowered my asking price to $69,995.00. It would be neat if the car could go to some one that would appreciate and enjoy the car.

I was under the impression that you would not be able to
obtain Jerry MacNeish certificate of authenticity without
the smog equipment.

No,that's not what I meant to imply at all.
I was just under the impression that he was very through
as to equipment that was originally on the car & it all had to
present. I noticed earlier in the posting that someone asked about its absence. I must have been misinformed about the process or misunderstood. I did not
intend to discredit anyone or any documentation. My appoligies.

Thank you for your response and I have to apologize for my reaction. Jerry did mention it in his report as an item that should be corrected to help bring the car up to a higher level. To be honest I wanted to put a factory cross ram on the car with headers so it did not concern me when I bought the car.

Back in the Day Two Era, no one I can remember in our area kept the smog on their Z28s, not saying that it didn't happen.......Kool Z28!

I can vividly remember in 1977 going to WLA Racing(Super Shops) and plunking down 39.95 for a set of Hedman Hedders, stripping the mani's and smog off my 73RS Z, and pitching it in the trash can. Who knew!
