Looking for an original late 1969 Camaro cowl air cleaner with the ridge on the bottom.I think 70 chevelle is the same. The later service replacement ones have a different vent tube. The early ones have one bend in the vent tube. The bend is a 90.Also need the ring the seal goes on.thanks John call 9063373928 or email [email protected]

I have an original late base, flange and rubber seal with original tape.
Correct 90° elbow with GM Alligator Hose. The unit is near mint. In Epoxy primer.

When you say late 69, did the change in the base design coincide with the normal model year change, and thus be found only on "extended model year" Camaros?

Don't know that it was a sudden change over. Late cars (08A and after) have been observed with the "new" base that is not completely flat on the bottom, but not every one of them. Kind of like the valve covers on Zs and L46 Corvettes. Some, but not all of the late cars got the valve covers with drippers. But... unlike most of the dripper covers, they still have the short cut outs for the intake manifold runners. During that period a car could have received either the old or the new style of either.
