Jake,
IT was almost like the original owner wanted everything on the car to be either blue or shinny. He painted the wheels blue and ran baby moons for a while and switched the window cranks to ones from a Buick or Olds with the chrome knobs instead of the original black knobs. He removed the black paint from the top radiator tank and added a chrome oil fill tube cap and regulator cover, as well as the generator cover. Those things will be returned to stock. There were also chrome valve covers on it when I bought it but the original painted ones were hanging on the wall in the garage. He cut the tailpipe resonators out and grafted in a straight piece of pipe with <span style="text-decoration: underline">fiberglass</span> and added chrome tips. This photo was taken in late '62.
