Love the Biscayne's. Does the silver car have headrests? It is my understanding that there was a headrest delete option for those cars...BKH

I had a Cortez silver2 door Biscayne
250 6 3 on the tree....
Black interior. Poverty caps and all...
Perverbial little old lady car.
With a statue of the Virgin Mary on
The dash ( frame was very rusty)
I still wish I kept the car ..

Years ago I answered an ad in Hemmings for a L72 Cortez Silver 69 Biscayne in Johnstown. Was the first to see it. Very low milage car BUT it was the base 385 /427 instead of the L72 as advertised. Had a 163 intake bolted to it. Everything else was very much intact and correct. I left disappointed and did not pursue the car. Not sure where it landed, but I looked back on it, and I feel I let one get away....BKH

Feeling some nostalgia for the old Biscayne today. I bought it out of an ad in the local auto swapper. It was being stored at the Muffler Man in Flint, MI, where the previous owner worked. I about flipped when I saw the old Flint Mfg employee parking pass still present on the rear-view mirror:

Cool car, I know Marc will do it justice.
