Just curious but what rules this out as being a 396 with ZL2?

It has 427 m written in the Fender extensions and 9737 in the Tunnel

I have cleaned the firewall of Paint today and there are some interesting things written there.

Looks like N587056 is missing all the ZL2 wiring, missing the relay, no grommet/wiring to the switch in the hood, etc. Not the best example of a ZL2 equipped car.

I've never seen a factory ZL2 equipped car without the wiring hole pierced above the main wiring hardness hole in the firewall, including the 50 Jan. '69 built Yenko Camaros.
