Default Possible 9561

Hey all,

I have known about a possible COPO9561 from a friend of mine. First I was told it was a Yenko but it's not. I finally got to meet the owner. He said it's a 9561 that he bought used 40 years ago. Drove it very little and it's been sitting for at least 30 years

So I was a ble to get a pic of it from way back when he drove it. It's sits on a trailer and the pic was taken from towards the back if it. It has a red interior but can't tell if it's black or dusk blue.

It definitely has rally rims on it and they sure look like 15" rims. Maybe a COPO9737 also? Did 15" rally rims come on any COPO 9561 without the 9737 option? If it has a 140 speedo and 13/16" sway bar I would safely assume it's a 9737 also?

When I talked to the guy he said it didn't have a radio when he got it. He also said he talked to Ed Cunneen about the car. Said it got a ton of stuff piled on it buried in his garage. Is not interested in driving it. Maybe maybe sell it.

I am continually trying to get in to see the car. He did mention to me tho that he would sell it to me for what he has into it. What ever that means.

Thanks for any help
Pete

Don't want to post the photo. The owner is in the photo and I don't want it all over the net.
Thanks

I'd like to know tho if non 9737 cars came with 15" rally wheels?

Got a call today from my buddy who knows the guy. I will be able to see the car soon as I'm going over there to help do something. I will know a lot more soon. I'm really confident it's the real deal.

The only 69 Camaros with factory 15" wheels were the Z/28 and COPO9737. Of course, wheels are an easy thing to change, so by itself, 15" wheels mean nothing.
