Don Yenko raced a ZL-1 powered 1969 Camaro in 1970 and was involved in other ZL-1 powered race cars over the years. I know of race Corvettes and a IMSA Monza
The Yenko alum Chevy block came out about 1984 Yenko Chevy closed in 1981 but Yenko still had a Chevy hi po parts business until he died Mar. 5, 1987. I know Yenko sponsored some drag race cars that used his Yenko block would have to have been in about 1984 to 1987
