Not only are the Camaros gone, but they usually have GM Nats on the same weekend as the Md Chevelle show, so the Chevelles are limited, plus they have a separate show for Corvette's which limits Corvette attendance at the GM Nats.

Correct Bill. They are the biggest issues IMO plus GM shows have been saturated for years. Look how weak Macungie has become over the last 10-12 years or so.

In the muscle years, both had basically two brands within &quot;Mopar&quot; and &quot;Ford&quot; - Mercury being a &quot;little brother&quot; ,if you will, with only few offerings of a muscular nature.

The divisions within General Motors have super strong followings - Pontiac people are as passionate and, at times, anti-Chevy, as any Mopar nut. They've had years of great, organized shows under POCI, GTOAA, Trans-Am etc. to enjoy their brand. They don't need a GM show. Ditto Chevy, Buick and Olds people.

Hell, the Carlisle show used to host the Camaro Nationals - that was great! Think about that: one model, sold by one division of GM. (But they left Carlisle). Ever hear of a 'Cuda Nationals? Nope. It's the Mopar Nationals. So when one model of GM has a show with as many devotees as an entire Mopar show, well, you get the picture - there isn't any need for a &quot;GM Show&quot;. So nobody goes. 2 cents. </div></div>

I understand what you're saying and I get the logic but I still feel that GM people who want to attend a swap and look for parts might have an easier time finding them at a GM show rather than having to cover 8000 spaces at a Spring or Fall show. When I have vended there I have always done very well, even though the number of vendors keeps shrinking. I've found good crowds in the aisles at each show, even today when I was there a short time. The ebay reasoning does not apply if you look at the Ford and Mopar shows with substantial vendor turnout. The buyers ARE there in the aisles; it's the continuing loss of vendors that perplexes me.

Is it because vendors are getting older and N.O.S. 1960's parts are drying up?Some of the EBay sellers that I've been dealing with for a long time are now into 1970's to early 80's parts.
