The one remaining rear end task to do is to set up the pinion gear to side gear/clutch clearance.
Nick Morocco showed me how the whole assembly works and we only had a limited time to assemble and set up the rear so this was left for me (the trained differential guy:-) Supercars Unlimited details the shimming process in this link, 0.001" to 0.005" backlash when the side gear is pushed tight into the carrier with the special tool (Big flat screw driver) I set up each side with the shims provided but need more shims as the kit only comes with four 0.006" shims, each side works out perfectly with the 0.024" so I will order. http://www.supercarsunlimited.com/in...n/antispin.htm You can see in this picture I am setting the clearance on the clutches on the ring gear side and the non ring gear side gear/clutches/friction plates/spacers are out.
