William Pape Chev Huntington LI NY Plate frames

Just picked up a 1/2 dozen or so vintage aluminum Wm Pape Chev Huntington NY license plate frames. These are old and are bright aluminm and painted blue still in thier orig bags.Pape sold a few HiPo Chev's in the day. $50 per if interested

The Guys at Pape sold more than their fair share of Hi-Po cars and parts.

The Parts Manager from back in the day ordered a 1968 L-78 Chevelle 4 speed, convertible as his daily driver.

He still owned it the last time I spoke with him a few years back.

The Service Manager had a black LS6 Chevelle, which he ordered new.

Is William Page Chevy still in buisness or are they long gone like all the other Hi Pro dealers.

The dealer is still there, now it is Huntington Chev, bascially the same untouched Pape facility. That silver 69 Nova SS with the 502 in it that was in the Hemmimgs Musclecar rag was supposedly Billy Papes (Son) street racer (was supposedly ordered as on L78 and had a 427 put in it)I know a few people who used to see it way back then.

JR, do you still have any of the Pape Chevrolet license plate frames available?
I have a friend that purchased a car originally delivered to this dealer and he's interested in one.
