I believe the fan is about 17.5 in diameter...can confirm, but that is pretty close. As for clearance between the w/p and radiator...the factory 5 blade has a 'relatively flat' profile, so you should be fine. Keep in mind there were no 'factory 4 core radiators' on the BB Nova [69-70]...only a 3 core. But, a 4 core will work, I have done it several times.
You will need the correct BB shroud and the engine has to have the correct stands/mounts for the everything to line up properly. wilma
