saw itin a early chevy II also..same deal..

there was a guy in the bootheel of Missouri had a yard full of SS cars..all weird optioned..buckets console..cokumn shift...most where 6 cylinders..including the 62 i spoke of. </div></div>

Sorry to blow that fable, but no '62 SS ever had a console on the floor unless it was a 4-speed. All '62 Super Sports DID have the seat separator storage box though.
