I think it could be an LS6 crate engine - looked like a low-rise '569' manifold when I saw it in the eBay auction.
I doubt it sold for that, or at all.

Right. The seller refused to let anyone actually come look at the car in person. He told everyone to base their bids on the photos. Wouldn't give any casting or stamping numbers off the engine or the alleged possible original pontiac engine in the garage, either.
If you peruse his past sales you will see that he has repeatedly relisted and resold some of his cars and trucks two or three times already even though they were sold at the end of each auction. |
