Hopefully you can give us any insight on how to tell a 4 bolt block externally they used to have a 1&quot; plug for oil cooler now as you can see thats not on this block, is there any other way to tell without pulling the pan? the side oil galley plugs used to be 1/4&quot; vs 1/8&quot;? sorry I dont mean to hijack your thread [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/crazy.gif[/img]

Later 445 casting block only have a 3/8 pipe plug. All factory 4 bolt 4.250 blocks are un shrouded on the deck for the intake valves.
