Default Re: 396 engine NHRA-SS/EA class specs in 1968

Verne:
Thanks for the info. Were the factors the same for SS/EA and SS/HA? I am trying to find a needle in the haystack named "Boss Lady". See picture. This is a 1968 SS396 that was raced by Luby Chevrolet in Baltimore late 68, early 69, and maybe part of 1970. My dad worked at Luby's at the time and I spent a lot of time at the dealership, and weekends at the track with him and the car so I have very fond memories. I don't have the VIN so I am trying to reconstruct some of the details. I know the car came with a 396 but I don't know the HP so I am trying to back into that with the engine specs for the SS/EA.

Anyway, thanks for the info. Let me know if you have any ideas that I can pursue to find the car.
