A couple of '69 SS Chevelles in there but I'd be interested in the 300 mph Plymouth jet car.

----Many of you may not know much about Classic Motors but I was working there at the time this add came out. Those were heady days. The Ferraris weren't ours but a good friend of Richards. Quite a line up though. Anyone notice that there were multiples of almost all the fuelies......Bill S

And asked higher than the big blocks! Recall a really sharp black/silver fuelie roadster in the showroom right around then ...

I believe that was right after my Dad bought his 67 from Richard. Neat times for sure. I remember as a 8-10 year old kid walking around the shop and showroom and even though I had absolutely no appreciation for what those cars were at the time in terms of rarity and collectability I knew it was a cool place to hang out. Fast forward to 1986 - the summer I worked there - and there were practically no Corvettes or Musclecars around anymore, mostly just the AMG stuff by then - but still a neat place with great memories for me.

Think on Ogden Ave. in Hinsdale, where Continental is now.

----You are right, Tenney! But to be totally correct, Classic Motors had 5 locations over the years. I never worked out of the 1st as I was still enjoying Fort Liquerdale. Moved north in 1976 and went to work at the Ogden Ave address you brought up......Bill S
