no you might not be able to tell in color, but the last effect and endurance of the spray gun and mixed paint provides a better finish, coverage and protection.
All in what your looking for......

The grille filler panel should not have a shine to it. It's a flat unbuffed laquer look.

I have been using PPG acrylic enamel with a medium reducer, sprays thin, flashes off fast and gives the look Kenny is talking about, OEM type finish. ( Not urethane shiny ) Lacquer is great too but my store does not mix it and this sprays and looks the same. |
