Is there anything available or is it just that the VIN doesn't have a paper trail?

Its an SS, 396 4 speed with console gauges and black buckets 12 bolt, originally painted burnished brown, now white.
wanting to track down anything if possible, nothing under the rear seat as it was originally restored in 92 and some of that paper work unfortunatly was lost.
