You hit the nail on the head!!! Dad is like a machine, he is working on the car in his sleep and wakes up ready to go!! Dad and Jamie removed the exhaust, driveshaft, Z bar, transmission mount bolts, engine mount bolts, carburetor, etc to prep the engine and trans to be removed. I brought home the engine hoist again and we pulled out the engine and transmission and then separated the transmission. The M22 is a 10 spline same as my M20 which is great, this means I can swap transmissions in future fairly easily.
