The only factory application for these heads would have been in a 71 Chevelle SS454....
there were a limited number of 454/425hp engines produced....<span style="font-weight: bold">according to Colvin's book.</span>

He lists three different codes: CPP, CPY and CPZ...not sure if any of these cars were actually produced.

These were open chamber rect. port heads...they may have been over the counter parts as well. Perhaps these were the heads used on the LS7 crate engines that were so popular way back when.

wilma </div></div>026 and 990 heads were used on the ls7 and possibly the ls6 the 990 did not go on an assembly built motor
