Default Re: Paint

All great points here, yes Cali is tough, and we will not just paint a car, we MUST strip the car to bare metal to be sure we are not painting over a problem. If you bring us a stripped car, with no issues, it is 30K, if we have to do a bunch of work, ie metal rust repair etc, it goes up from there. There are lots of shops that can do a very good job for 8-10K. However if we are doing a restoration, we only do it one way ..... Perfect, and that costs a bunch. It's always best to review the value of your car and what you want it for........a good friend of mine painted his car in his garage and he did a great job, paint lasted 3-4 years before bubbles developed.

For myself and our clients, TIME is the issue, when we take a car, or do our own, we want that car done in NO MORE than one year, and that costs money

TIME IS THE ONLY COMMODITY WE CANNOT REPLACE.
