Brent- drop me an email for photos and measurements
YES 2 5/8" overall with no hub is the correct fan clutch

There is a great tutorial on this site from Warren and Bergey on the L78 fan Clutch and covers the date stamp as well
Also the CRG ( Thank you Kurt) on the different mfg of fan clutches for the L78 application.
