I went to my very first Cruise Night in Orangeville Ontario, most people had never seen a 409 in a Corvair sedan LOL Car ran great about 200-210 degrees. Spectators, etc wonder where the V8 sound is coming from LOL I would like to get the tempurature down a little bit but it runs very STRONG !I have a 6 puck ceramic clutch disc in it and it chatters a bit but I guess I can live with it.

This would indeed be a fun car to have at MCACN. I am sure it would bring a smile to many faces and although you may have a tired jaw from answering questions and talking about it, we can promise a great time with great people.

Please consider this an invitation to join us! www.mcacn.com

You know, we all really, REALLY need to see the 409 car laying down a massive smoky 100-foot burnout. We can all chip-in for new rear tires and a clutch if necessary (a-la Eric's Chevelle transmission issue). That would be an epic picture.

Mel use to own the fastest car (31 Ford)in the valley...Hockley valley(north of Toronto). We need to really encourage and pump up the tires, plus clear the area of about 1/2 mile for the all the shrapnel of diff and tranny parts.
