I have a 1972 GM parts book, 4 bound volumes for all models, I do not recall a nuts and bolts section. Just exploded views for each model and then part number lists with some details (not always helpful (i.e BOLT or NUT ASSEMBLY ). One of the more helpful ways to dig into nuts and bolts is to take the Assembly manual and get the part number of the fastener. The go to the AMK PDF catalog and look the part number up in the cross reference section. Then go to the page reference and find the fastener listed fro the part number. The PDF catalog has a picture and specs on the fasteners. AMK is not always perfectly correct, but most are very close or exact.
