From start (turn key) at exactly 1:00 p.m. today to trans out and bellhousing off:
<25 minutes. That's with hand tools. By myself. There's something wrong with that picture... |

Had it in and out a few times, eh? I remember laying on my back and farting around with my brother Gary's 4 speed in his 67 Camaro. Got really GOOD at taking it out and putting it back in...LOL

I recently had my Muncie out a few times due to defective new clutch parts. On the third try, I got it down to about 45 mins, and that includes shifter boot, shifter, driveshaft, bellhousing, clutch. That's also laying on my back, by myself, with simple hand tools. It gets easy the third time around! LOL |
