Having done a bit of research on the C427X intake (already knew it was a 70's piece, not to mention Motion used them), most people seem to run them with a 780 (or larger) carb. Is a 750 not enough for these? I have heard they flow extremely well.

'68 Camaro SS (454/TH400, possible L78/M22) LeMans Blue, black deluxe interior, black vinyl top. 3.73- mostly Day 2.
'89 Mustang GT- 3.55, subframe connectors, muffler delete, and a couple other minor mods. Exactly as he wanted it, so how it shall stay

Also:
1995 Ford F-150 XL
2004 Dodge Ram Hemi GTX- #192 of 433


Ain't no fun in viewing your car as an 'investment'. Get out there and beat on it!

If you're looking for the &quot;Day 2&quot; look....the C427X in a good candidate. If you're fine with the stock look, the factory &quot;163&quot; intake actually works better than the C427X. I believe it was someone on here that did a comparison back in the day and the Edelbrock didn't perform as well as the factory intake.

I plan on keeping the C427X purely for the Day 2 look.
